Investments in human capital is seen as vital in Timor-Leste’s future growth and development. Health is one of its key factors, and although the country has made important progress in most health indicators, other issues have aroused (dårlig det siste leddet her). While the accessibility and use of mobile phones and social media has been sky-rocking in Timor-Leste, an increasing number of studies suggests that there might be several negative health related effects when using these technologies.
Timor-Leste has one of the world’s youngest population, and most of the timorese youth will probably grow up in an environment highly influenced by internet and social media. Kria dalan believes that a healthy use of social media will be an important aspect in Timor-Leste’s future development, and that is the reason why we are launching this campaign.
